Do You Need a CMS (Content Management System)?
A recent article on Sitepoint.com points to the fact that a lot of companies are moving their static websites to a "CMS" or a content management system so they can give users more content faster. But do you really need a CMS for your website? The short answer is yes. There are many benefits to having a content management system. They're not hard to set up and are fully customizable so that you can get the exact look and feel that you would like your site to have. There are very few reasons why a static website would better serve your company than a content managed site would.

Education for the Twenty-First Century: Organizing Information
While the scientific definitions of information and knowledge may be very different, the reality is that in most respects, information = knowledge. It's true that information doesn't have a human element, but knowledge does.
However, the value of "formal education" has significantly dropped as information has become widely accessible through the internet. No longer do you have to go to a college to learn how to do a variety of tasks. Does this mean that professionals who are highly skilled at their trade are no longer useful? Actually the contrary is true. With the wealth of knowledge and information out there, only those who are really good at what they do will be able to get to the top of success in their particular field. But, what it does mean is that to simply learn, you no longer need to go to college and get grades. You can design your own course of learning and develop a body of knowledge that is yours and yours alone. Of course, what you do with this knowledge is up to you. You could use it to develop your own company or you could simply use it to help out your own community. Whatever it is that you do with the knowledge that you learn, just remember that knowledge is only as good as it's application. And of course I haven't even gone into the specifics of how knowledge can be used for good purposes or even for evil purposes.
Tips to Blogging Success

No one can debate the importance of blogging for your success as an individual and even the success of your company. But blogging can be a difficult thing to do if you're not familiar with a few simple tips that can really help your blogging become a huge success and boost your website's rankings on search engines
1. Don't Copy
One of the easy ways out in blogging is to basically copy the content of another blogger and incorporate it into your own site. However, this is one of the worst mistakes and will destroy your blogs credibility with search engines and with readers too if they discover that your content is not original. Make your content relevant and also interesting and you'll have yourself a winning combination for a blog
2. Link In
One thing I notice as I peruse various blogs is that they not only link out to other blogs and content on the web, they provide many links to previous articles that they've done. If you blog a lot, this will be easy to do since many of your posts will eventually link to each other. Once you've got links going from other sources into your blog and links going around your blog, your network of information will grow stronger and stronger. Think of a link as a trail that allows search engines and users to travel further and further into the world of your blog and explore it's content.
Is Twitter the Google of the Future?
This is definitely a question I've been pondering lately. It takes time for a technology to catch on, but sometimes you can see when one is definitely catching on and I'm about to make a bold statement and say that I believe Twitter or in more general, the "twitter model" is quite possibly the way you will search tomorrow. Afterall, Google has recognized that there's something here since when you do a search for just about anything, you will see the latest Twitter results in your Google search.
Does Your Company Need A Website?
Do you really need a website? With all the expense involved in getting a website and all the time involved, you may wonder if your company really needs a website at all. The problem is that the web has pretty much replaced traditional means of communication and will continue to do so. There are new technologies coming out every year (probably more like every month) that take advantage of the internet.
The Role of Page Titles in Search Engine Optimization
Perhaps the most important fact to consider when developing your website is the role that page titles play for search engines. For example, if you have a page on a site and you give it a title with very specific keywords, then you are likely to get a very good ranking on practically any search engine, especially if your subject is not a highly competitive one.
Getting Your Message Out
Whether you're a start up internet company or a booming Fortune 500 company, your success ultimately depends on one thing: getting your message out. Of course you may say but that's so much easier said then done. That is definitely true, but for the small company that takes advantage of the many tools that we have available today, getting your message out is really not that hard. The tough thing is getting that message to out to the right people. That's one of the things about internet marketing that makes it a real challenge.
Eagles Eye Design: Before the Movie
When Eagles Eye Design was first launched, there was no movie with a name similar the company name. Eagles Eye Design came along before the movie existed. I wonder sometimes if the writers of the movie didn't stumble upon our website and then take the name for their movie. Of course, if what I've read about the movie is true, then it's really not that great. Of course, since I haven't yet seen it, who am I to judge?
